Really good 80mm fan.
This is a good product. Quiet,I keep it on the lower setting, but even on the medium setting I couldn't hear it. Of course, I do have other fans in my PC that I do hear, so I don't know if you could hear it if you have a really quiet PC. On low I don't think you can complain, and I've had a noticable 2 - 3 degree celsius drop blowing over my video card.

Quiet, cooling and fast!
I ordered this product from Amazon even though a few alternate sources were a couple bucks cheaper, and I'm happy!

Shipping was fast, fast, fast! I ordered this fan over Easter weekend and it was on my doorstep the following Tuesday!

I've used quite a few of these fans (80 mm and 120 mm) and I love the options! It's much easier than splicing into the psu wires, and it works great as a replacement if set on high and plugged directly into the mobo!

Low noise heaven
Replaced the old high speed fan with the Antec TriCool multi speed fan set to the middle speed range. Cuts down the fan noise level with only a small temperature increase to my three hard drives which are located in the front bay of the PC Mid Tower case. Now the constant fan noise is no longer an irritation.

Excellent Cooler
Easy installation, extremely quiet, nice pretty blue light, will definitely lower your CPU temp., comes with grease and everything you need.

Big @ss CPU Fan/Heatsink
If I knew how to determine my CPU temp, then I would probably give this a higher rating, but I don't. It is large and heavy, but I had no problems getting it into my Antec 900. Runs relatively quiet and has a cool blue LED light. Required two people to install (screw mounts had to held by one person and the other person had to screw in the heatsink/fan due to the screw mounts loosening during tightening of the heatsink screws). Seems like a good product, but haven't really gamed hard on it at this point, and I don't know how to check the CPU temp, so for now it gets a 4/5.

Whats there to say. It works, its quiet and its cool
Just don't put your fingers into it! This fan gets the job done for sure. I've used just about every major fan out there, and this one is great for the money. Have it on an HTPC, and it does the job.

:) great fan
I was looking for a easy way to make a cooling pad at home but I was not sure how to make a USB fan so I went on line to find out and I found out you had to have a 5v Fan for a usb cable. SO I found this on Amazon and I got it because one it was a big fan bigger then most 5v fans and when I got it I plused it in to test it its power full and works great it does cool of the notebook but its really ment for cooling off extreanl hard drives and CD Room and othere things that are not inside your computer

Works Great, When It Works
This thing is a great idea, is built like a tank, and works great. The problem is that it doesn't work great for very long (only weeks or months rather than years) before it starts to malfunction. And even changing the coolant monthly doesn't help.

The problem is the built-in rotating fluid flow sensor, which is a round device that is viewable through the side of the unit. This is intended to be a safety feature that will turn off the pump if it thinks that the fluid has stopped flowing (causing the vanes in this flow sensor to stop rotating). The flaw in this design is that after awhile, the sensor is often fooled by bubbles or cloudy fluid into thinking that the fluid flow has stopped. So it shuts off the pump and starts beeping. This is exceptionally stupid because protecting your COMPUTER/CPU from overheating is much more important than protecting the pump in the Reserator XT. So since you can never count on the Reserator to keep doing its job when you're not around to watch it, you would think that shutting your computer down when you're away would be a work-around. But no, turning everything off for extended periods can cause larger bubbles to form in the flow sensor which leave a film behind that can then dry and cause the sensor to get permanently stuck. The next time you turn everything on, the Reserator XT cannot start- it just beeps Oh, your COMPUTER will still start up, but it will not be receiving any cooling because the pump is shut off. Good luck with not frying your CPU when that happens.

Next problem: the Reserator is diabolically difficult to drain completely. It needs a drain port- preferably pump-assisted.

In summary: I LOVE the concept behind this unit, but the crappy built-in plastic flow sensor ruins the whole design. It'll work fine if you're willing to fool with it every day, but it's not for people who want to just "set it and forget it".

So I'm replacing my year-old Reserator XT with air cooling. Yes, I'll still use Zalman air cooling hardware, as they're still the best at that. Watch for my slightly used Reserator XT on eBay or Craig's List really cheap.

good cooler
i intalled this cooler on phenom 2 x4 940 and i got 32 idle and 49 max when cpu under full load .overclocked a little at 3.2 ghz.
you got to be careful applying thermal paste otherwise you'll get higher temps.

Good price and looked forward to replacing a very noisy intel fan. Installed and booted computer, fan did not spin at all! Lights worked but fan was crap right out of package!

runs cool and quiet
I had to replace my old cooler, but needed something with a lower profile than most 775 coolers out there. This one worked great. Dropped my CPU a few deg. and is quieter than my old one. I don't like the blue lights in the fan. I can't leave my computer on at night and sleep, 4 leds are bright comming from my desk.
